Membership Categories

To ensure diverse representation in the WNA's governance, members are divided into three categories. Please tick the box that best describes your organisation:

A “Supplier” member is a corporate or government body engaged in (or intending to engage in) the production, processing, conversion or enrichment of uranium – or the fabrication of nuclear fuel – for use in civil nuclear power plants.

A “Generator” member is a corporate or government body that is a using (or intending to use) nuclear fuel for power production.

A “General” member is a corporate or government body, or a research or educational institution, that falls outside the definition of eligibility of Supplier or Generator. General members may be either commercial or non-commercial.

Eligibility

Membership in the World Nuclear Association is open to any organisation engaged or otherwise interested in the peaceful uses of nuclear technology, particularly for the production of primary energy.

Annual Fee

A member organisation’s annual fee is based on its size and scale of activity. Fees for organisations in certain countries outside the OECD may be discounted to take account of lower levels of national income and/or nuclear activity. Members pay an annual fee upon commencement of membership. Please note that 6 months notice is required should you wish to terminate membership upon renewal.
